Content Island Ltd. Non-Exclusive Licensing Agreement Notes:

General

The mechanical, synchronization, and performance rights granted to the LICENSEE within the AGREEMENT include 

(1) right to re-record, duplicate and release the Work as part of a production in whatever medium(s) necessary (i.e. poster, commercial, video tape, film, CD-ROM, DVD, etc). If the Work is used in software such as a video game application or other software product, the Work will be “embedded” with the intention that the end user of the software or video game is unable to extract or use the Work on its own; 

(2) right to use the Work as a soundtrack “synced” with visual images as part of a production; and 

(3) right to use the Work as part of the public viewing or broadcast of a production (including but not limited to TV shows, videos, DVDs, Web Sites, podcasts, multimedia presentations, and films). The LICENSOR grants LICENSEE a non-exclusive perpetual license to use the Work herein.

Submissions

Creators who wish to submit music/SFX or photos to Content Island must own all the rights to all music/sounds or images that you wish to include in our catalogue and it must be either composed by you or be a composition in the public domain. Please submit only content that you own and that you would like to make available for licensing with us. 

Once submitted, the Content Island team will review and once approved, we will then officially be able to add your content to our website catalogue making it available for licensing via download on a non-exclusive basis.

You will maintain all ownership and the copyright of your content. Our role is only to non-exclusively license your content by making it available on our website for download to be used by content creators (Individuals and companies) either for commercial or non-commercial use.

Since this agreement is a non-exclusive one, you will be able to use your music/photos with other libraries. Labels, Publishers  for any other uses you desire as long as their agreements do not conflict with our agreement.
